TU Delft Storage¶
Shared storage¶
The shared storage consist of four different storages (Topdesk info) which are accessible from all platforms and also outside the TU:

Behind each storage type de Windows drive letter is given
- Personal data (H:)
- Staff Group data (M:)
- Staff Bulk data (N:)
- Project data (U:) a.k.a. Umbrella Data
Each user has its own personal data. Access to the group and bulk data is given on a per-user basis and can be requested from your system administrator or from servicepunttnw@tudelft.nl. Access to the project data is given by the project owner (see below).
How to access these storages depends on your OS, the type of installation (TU Delft image or BYO) and the network (internal or external, wireless or wired). Per operating system some instructions are given on how to use these storages.
Windows¶
When using a TU Delft installed computer connected to the network via a cable (wired) the storages are automatically available on your computer. The drive letters are shown in parenthesis in the list above.

Project Data¶
Each researcher can request for project storage after filling in the form at the following link:

Note
This storage is found with the share-name umbrella!
Important
In case you are a student, PhD student or Postdoc make sure you also include your supervisor to the list of people with full access to this storage
