Expected Behaviour¶
We expect all participants to:
- Be respectful and considerate towards others, both in discussions and code.
- Communicate openly and thoughtfully with others.
- Be welcoming to people of all backgrounds and experiences.
- Acknowledge and accept constructive feedback.
- Collaborate and work towards common goals.
Unacceptable Behaviour¶
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable:
- Harassment, abuse, or discriminatory remarks based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or any other form of personal attack.
- Insulting or demeaning language or actions, including in online discussions, pull requests, issues, and code reviews.
- Disruptive behaviour that negatively impacts the project or community.
- Any form of intimidation or exclusionary behaviour.
Reporting Issues¶
If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, please report it immediately to the project maintainers at r.ligteringen@tudelft.nl
- Include relevant details of the incident, such as the date and context.
- We will investigate all reports and take appropriate actions, which may include issuing a warning, banning users, or removing harmful contributions.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behaviour¶
Anyone engaging in unacceptable behaviour may face temporary or permanent bans from participating in the project. The severity of the action will be based on the impact of the behaviour, and appropriate steps will be taken to ensure a positive community experience.
Scope¶
This Code of Conduct applies to all spaces related to the project, including but not limited to:
- GitLab repositories, issues, and merge requests
- Public and private communication channels (e.g., email, forums, chat)
- Conferences, meet-ups, or other events related to the project
