Storage

Home directory

On the ImPhys servers (jupiter-imphys.tnw.tudelft.nl and saturn-imphys.tnw.tudelft.nl) your home directory will be your stored locally on the 20TB partition on jupiter and mounted on /home for both servers.

On the linux-bastion.tudelft.nl and login.daic.tudelft.nl you will have the Linux home directory. Also note that you have a separate home directory on the hpc<xx>.tudelft.net (e.g. hp29.tudelft.net), the linux-bastion-ex.tudelft.nl and login.delftblue.tudelft.nl. This means you cannot access the data on these home directories on the ImPhys servers and visa versa you cannot access the data on your ImPhys server home directory on these servers. For this you can use sftp, scp or rsync -e ssh. You can also use the bulk-, group- or project-storage to share data between these servers.

Also note that the Linux home directory is not available on the Windows computers.

Project directory

The project directories are meant for sharing data with other users on the servers. It is locally stored on the 20TB partition on saturn and mounted on /data for both servers. Note: these are not the TU Delft project storages mentioned below!

TU Storages

All TU Delft storages bulk, group and umbrella (a.k.a. project) are available via /tudelft.net/.
